First Lieutenant Turney W. Leonard, USA (November 4-6, 1944)

USATurney White Leonard was born in Dallas, Texas on June 18, 1921. He was a member of the class of 1942 at Texas A&M University and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army via ROTC. Leonard was assigned to the Armor Branch.

He entered combat in Normandy in July 1944 with the 893rd Tank Destroyer Battalion. The 893rd was equipped with the M10 Gun Motor Carriage.

Staff Sergeant George D. Keathley, USA (September 14, 1944)

George Dennis Keathley was born on March 10, 1917 in Olney, Texas. He graduated from what is today known as Texas A&M University with their class of 1937. He entered the United States Army for World War II service in 1942. Keathley was an infantryman with Company B of the 1st Battalion, 338th Infantry Regiment.

Second Lieutenant Thomas W. Fowler, USA (May 23, 1944)

Second Lieutenant Thomas Weldon Fowler was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on October 31, 1921. After graduating from Wichita Falls High School, he entered Texas A&M in September 1939. Fowler majored in animal husbandry. As a senior, he served as a cadet captain and executive officer of the cavalry squadron. Fowler graduated in February, 1943
