#TFH on #VLR 10/5 – Finger on the #TriggerWarning; @rodentpolitics joins

TFHRsquareVLR2I’m back LIVE on Vigilant Liberty Radio tonight at 10pm Eastern, 7pm Pacific with another edition of Their Finest Hour! Please come join the program in VLR’s chat room and interact with myself and guest George Templeton (@rodentpolitics)! If you don’t want to chat (why not?!), you can listen using the other embedded show players you’ll find around, or direct over on Spreaker. They’ve got mobile apps for iOS and Android too.

Tonight, we’ll go through a potpourri of current events: mass shootings and gun-grabbers, the GOP leadership drama in the House of Representatives, the accidental (?) bombing of a Doctors Without Borders’ hospital in Afghanistan, plus whatever else comes to mind. Winging the agenda is sometimes for the best!

IMG_6696We’ll also open up the phones at some point too, so be sure to listen or watch Twitter for call-in instructions.

10E/9C/8M/7P! Don’t miss!

Here’s tonight’s replay! Was a great show!

#TFH on #VLR 6/22: Rants & “Raisin” Hell with @redsoutrage!

Katie Jerkovich LIVE in Hour 2!

UPDATE: REPLAY ADDED! Their Finest Hour is LIVE on Vigilant Liberty Radio tonight at 10pm Eastern/7pm Pacific! Clearly, there’s lots to talk about!

In the first hour, I’m hoping to get a pro-gun control voice to join me for a spirited, yet respectful, discussion on firearms and the Second Amendment in the wake of last week’s horrific, racism-fueled mass-murder in Charleston, South Carolina. Whether that comes to pass or not, I’ll still give my take on the topic.

IMG_6696As a result of Charleston, plus a recent Supreme Court ruling, the display of the Confederate flag is back in the news, and on that I’ve got a little bit of a rant ready. I think I’ll also get ranty about the United States Government outsourcing some IT operations and development to China – and with recent data breaches, you can see where that’s gotten us.

In hour 2, I’ll be welcoming Katie Jerkovich (aka “Red Pickle” – Twitter: @redsoutrage) back to the program! Katie has been writing up a storm at her new gig at The Grizz, plus we have to talk about the great result for farmers and liberty that the Supreme Court handed down in Horne v. Department of Agriculture, which she wrote about here at TFH!

Appropriate also that I’ll have Katie on as it’s #RedheadMonday!

Phones will also be open! Please join us in the VLR Chatroom for the program and interact with us as the show goes on! You can also listen direct on Spreaker, a Spreaker mobile app, or using the other embedded show players you’ll find here.

10E/9C/8M/7P – don’t miss the show!

Here’s the replay!

Reflections on the Tsarnaev manhunt, one week after

On April 18, Americans residing around the city of Boston were alerted by their neighbors that an imminent threat to their safety was in their midst. Throughout the night, they were warned about the danger to their property and their families.

As April 19 dawned, those Bostonians who were willing, along with many others from surrounding communities, armed themselves and took to the streets and fields in defense of their homes, communities, and fellow citizens…

…wait, WHAT?
