UPDATE: REPLAY ADDED!! I’m returning live to Vigilant Liberty Radio at 10pm Eastern/7pm Pacific on Monday, September 29th for another great edition of Their Finest Hour! I’ve got a great program planned with two fantastic guests for an evening of talk on both domestic and foreign news and policy items!
First up will be Ed Morrissey (@EdMorrissey), editor of HotAir and also a contributor to The Week. It will be great to have Ed back for another visit, and we’ll be talking about the Holder resignation and speculation on who will replace the embattled Attorney General, thoughts on GOP prospects for the midterm elections now just five weeks away, and whatever breaking stories come up during the day Monday. We’ll probably also have a lament of the collapse Sunday of the Pittsburgh Steelers, as we’re both fans.
Hour two will be focused overseas as I welcome IJReview writer and blogger at A Single Voice Katrina Jørgensen (@Veribatim) back to the show! Katrina recently returned to this side of the Atlantic, so getting her back on live was high on the priority list! On tap for this segment will be widespread democracy protests in Hong Kong and the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India to the United States, made more significant by his previous designation by the State Department as a violator of human rights and inability to get a visa. We’ve also got the United States continuing to flounder on the world stage under President Obama’s non-leadership, Ebola potentially reaching a disastrous tipping point in Africa, and who knows…maybe, just maybe, we can go the whole time without mentioning…”VP” (and no, that’s not Biden!).
Well, we actually had Katrina for the whole two hours, and Ed for hour one – great time & conversation had by all! Here’s the replay if you missed it live, and as always, you can click “Spreaker” in the player to be taken to the page where you can download a copy for offline listening!
